Formovie was founded through a collaboration between Appotronics Corporation, the pioneers of ALPD (Advanced Laser Phosphor Display) technology, and Xiaomi. Their latest ALPD 4.0 RGB+ iteration, featuring a triple colour laser light source, powers the Formovie THEATER ultra short throw laser projector. This projector operates on Google’s Android TV 11.0 OS, complete with Google Assistant, Chromecast, and access to the Google Play app store. Notably, the Formovie THEATER UST projector has an input lag of 41.9ms and does not currently support 3D functionality.

The projector can project an image size ranging from 80″ to 150″ diagonally. For a display size of 100″ diagonally, the projector needs to be positioned just 9″ away from the wall or the screen surface. Along with the projector, we also provide an optional XY Screens ALR 120" PET Crystal Fixed Frame Screen [available here], which is highly recommended for daylight viewing. This ultrashort anti-light PET Crystal screen effectively negates 93% of ambient light, ensuring authentic colour representation, a 0.8 gain, and a 160° viewing angle.
