Tab-Tension Mechanism:
The Tab Tension feature ensures the screen is not only pulled downward by the weight bar but also taut from the sides using a nylon string. This string connects to the screen via small "tabs", giving the design its name. Unlike conventional screens, the Tab Tension screen utilises a flexible material, allowing even tension on all sides. Grandview Cyber screens incorporate a unique ratchet system on either end of the weight bar, facilitating easy adjustments to the tensioning strings
Material Quality:
Sourced from the US, the material is specially designed for home cinema applications, offering high contrast and consistent reflectivity. The addition of a black PVC backing prevents any light intrusion, enabling the screen's placement even in front of windows.
Remote Control & Trigger:
All Cyber Tab Tensioned screens come equipped with an in-built infra-red remote control system. While the IR receiver is front-mounted on the case, an external IR eye is provided for concealed setups. The screens also feature a 12-volt trigger input, compatible with any projector or sound system with a corresponding output. A 10m mono mini jack cable is included for connectivity. Case & Motor Design:
The screen is encased in an elegant diamond white aluminium housing with a sophisticated curved profile, making it a visual treat. Its robust construction ensures minimal motor noise and a straight internal roller. Notably, Cyber series screens employ premium SOMFY motors.
Mounting System:
The Cyber screens boast one of the market's most efficient mounting systems. Installation involves two brackets that can be attached to either the wall or ceiling, accommodating any point along the screen's length. After clipping the screen onto the brackets, a retaining bolt ensures it stays in place. The screen can be removed only upon releasing this bolt.
Dimensions & Other Features:
Screen measurements, akin to televisions, are in imperial units. They're determined by the material's width. Standard sizes include 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, and 9ft. The viewable area, bordered by black frames, is slightly smaller. Notably, the top black border of Cyber screens is adjustable, ranging from 0 to 20"/50cm, allowing customisation of screen positioning.
